**WWII Marine Corps Rebuilt Springfield Armory Model 1903 Rifle

.30-06, 24" barrel, S/N 1518143. Parkerized finish, walnut two bolt, pistol-gripped C-stock. Standard four-line Springfield receiver markings over serial number. Counterpane with clear RIA/FK boxed rebuild cartouche. Clear {Circle-P} proof in pistol grip. Barrel marked USMC / 1-44 / {Circle-S}NS marked bolt handle, "Hatcher Hole" drilled in receiver, typical of USMC rebuilt and used M1903 Rifles. Bolt is not electro-pencil numbered to the gun. Includes a leather M1905 sling.

Condition:

Fine as refurbished. Retains nearly all the finish on the metal with some light wear, crisp markings and a crisp stock with clear markings. Mechanically functional, fine bright 4-groove bore.
