** Winchester Model 1886
.33 WCF. 24.25" length barrel. SN: 7684. Lever-action rifle with tube fed magazine. Features adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sights and fixed ramp front sights with . Blued metal finish with case hardened receiver and plain straight grip stock and forearm. Item has a steel forend cap and a metal buttplate. Markings include Winchester-New Haven manufacturer address and "MODEL 86-.33 W.C.F." to left side of barrel. Upper tang is marked "MODEL 1886" and lower tang features 1885 patent date followed by serial number.
Condition:
Good. Bore is slightly frosty. Some losses and thinning to barrel. Frame has heavy losses to finish and is a mottled grey patina. Barrel and frame finish have speckled oxidation and pitting. There is visible dust collecting at sights and hammer. Stock has minor scratches and bites overall, with small loss to corner along left side of upper tang. Barrel possibly replaced at some point.
