* Winchester M-1 Garand Rifle,

.30-06 caliber, 24" barrel, serial number 1622261. Barrel has the P over a W inside an oval. At the muzzle between the gas cylinder straps is a marked ARL ORD Arlington, VA. Bolt is marked D28287-1 W.R.A. Receiver is marked D28291-WIN13. OP rod is slant cut, curved-sided, modified with relief cut and marked D35382-W.R.A. Trigger housing is marked D28290-W.R.A. Triggerguard is forged, milled and marked C 46025 W.R.A. Gas cylinder is numbered and has the wide front sight base. There is a flat on the top of the rear ring. The cylinder lock is low. There is no visible cartouche. There is a large unserifed P on the bottom flat side of the pistol grip. The initials O.G. are written in a box on the left hand side of the butt.

This is a late WWII production rifle. This rifle came back from overseas to a commercial organization.

Condition:All metal is in very good condition showing only slight wear. Stocks are in good condition with signs of wear on the top of the rear handguard. Buttstock with numerous small dents, scratches and dings. The buttstock has had some rework and sanding. It is a complete and correct 13 and could clean up to a very presentable specimen.
