Provenance:From the Collection of Charlie Hinton
Very good. Retains much of the blue on the barrel which is thinning and turning to plum with more wear on the magazine tube than the barrel. Receiver with some case color remaining and traces of vibrance in some areas. Hammer with nice case color as well. Clear markings, mechanically functional, bore about very good with a patch of moderate pitting about halfway down the barrel, otherwise with moderately scattered oxidation and could well clean to better. Stock with some old added finish, showing a moderate amount of bumps, dings mars and scrapes. Overall an honest 1886 in the most popular caliber.
