William IV Barnard & Sons Sterling Silver Epergne

English (London), ca 1837. A Barnard & Sons sterling silver three-light candelabra and epergne, the pierced foliate central bowl holding a cut glass bowl, and convertible to a four-light candelabra, the whole of foliate form, on a tripod base with three scrolled feet. The base with three reserves, each with engraved armorial and motto Recte Et Suaviter. With full hallmarks to base, and each removable section with partial marks; epergne ht. 21.5 in., candelabra ht. 25.75 in., total silver wt. 143.07ozt (4449.5g).
