Whitney 2nd Model Navy Revolver

.36 caliber. 7.5" octagonal barrel length. SN: 23261. Blued metal finish with case hardened lever and brass triggerguard. Percussion revolver with pinch frame notch and a ground down front sight. Markings include E. WHITNEY/N. HAVEN to top of barrel. Left side of frame features Franklin C. Warner F.C.W. inspector marks, and grips show boxed F.C.W. cartouche to left side. Cylinder marks are very weak but present.

Condition:

Fair to good. Bore is dark. Finish is bare and shows pitting and darkened patina overall. Grips shows some losses and scratches. Cylinder engravings are very weak. Action needs work.
