forged iron blade pierced with a batwing design and having a cylindrical bowl; file-branded handle embellished with 57 brass tacks; hide drop quilled in red and blue; hide thongs are quill-wrapped and further detailed with tincones, overall length 40 in., length of tomahawk 20.5 in., length head 8.5 in., width of blade 3 in.

Some quill loss; appears to be missing most if not all of the gasket.  Head slides but does not come off handle.
