Victorian Music Box Presented by Grover Cleveland to his Vice President Thomas Hendricks

Lot of 2, including music box plus Grover Cleveland ALS.  The note, discovered by the consignor behind the song list on the underside of the lid, is 1p, 3.5 x 4.25 in., dated November 5, 1884, reading To Thomas Hendricks / "Congratulations" / I hope you enjoy this gift., and signed Yours greatfully(sic), Grover Cleveland.  This was written the day after Cleveland and Hendricks defeated James Blaine and Thomas Logan to become the first victorious Democratic ticket since before the Civil War, suggesting that this could be one of the earliest notes written by Cleveland after winning the nomination.
