** Very Early Numbered Webley British Bulldog

.450 centerfire. 2.5" barrel length. SN: 22. Double action revolver with fixed 6-shot cylinder, and notch and blade sights. Nickel plate finish with checkered black walnut grips. Item features floral script and scroll engravings to metal overall. There are no Webley manufacturer marks present on exterior of gun. The only manufacturer marks present are serial number with inspection marks to cylinder, and serial number with "BB" British Bulldog marking under right grip. Right grip has letters "GB" and what appears to be "QWY" scrawled to bottom side of right grip.

Fair to good. Bore is frosty and has moderate oxidation. Finish has mostly worn away and is only retained to bottom of barrel and in areas of lower frame. Item appears as a mottled silver color with scattered oxidation and pitting overall. There is oxidation to interior of frame. Grip straps have the most losses and appear oxidized. Grips show moderate wear and scratching overall. The double action on this revolver will need work. Trigger does not rebound after hammer has been released and it must be done manually.
