**US Property Marked Hi-Standard U.S.A. Model H-D Pistol
.22LR, 4.5" barrel, S/N 143762. Parkerized finish, checkered synthetic grips. Exposed hammer variant. Left side of slide marked HI-STANDARD / U.S.A. MODEL H-D, left side of frame with 6-line address, patent and caliber markings. Right side of frame marked in two lines: PROPERTY OF / U.S. over {Ordnance Wheel}. Top of barrel marked PROPERTY OF USA in a single line. Includes a single, Hi-Standard marked 10-round metal magazine. Approximately 34,000 USA Model H-D pistols were produced for the US Government circa 1943-1945.

Condition:
Fine. Retains most of the Parkerized finish with minor thinning and high edge wear, with some very lightly freckled surface oxidation Clear markings, mechanically functional, fine bore. Grips with scattered light handling marks.
