.54 caliber, 8.5" barrel, no S/N. Bright finish, brass furniture, walnut stock. Standard Aston markings on lock, dated 1851. No visible marks on barrel or tang. Weak traces of cartouches on counterpane. Retains swivel ramrod.

Good. Metal moderately oxidized with scattered light pitting and discoloration, as well as some patches of minor surface rust. Brass with a dark golden patina. Mechanically functional, hammer screw replaced, poor bore is rusty and dark. Stock and furniture covered with an old coat of varnish. Stock with wear, bumps, dings and mars.
