.54 caliber, 8.5" barrel, no S/N. Bright finish, brass furniture, walnut stock. Standard Aston markings on lock, dated 1851. No visible marks on barrel or tang. Weak traces of cartouches on counterpane. Swivel ramrod replaced with replaced swivel and screw, rear lock screw replaced.

Good. Shows wear with a mottled and oxidized gray patina on the barrel and a dull gold patina on the brass. Mechanically functional, fair bore is rusty. Stock with wear and repaired V-shaped crack running from the rear of the lock down to the triggerguarrd, also showing bumps, dings and mars.
