.45 caliber, 5.5" barrel length, S/N 58329. Left side of the barrel marked "S&W D.A. 45". Top of the barrel marked in 2 lines with address over patent dates. Bottom of the barrel marked "United States Property". Bottom of the back strap marked in 3 lines with "US" over "Army" over "Model" over "1917". Front blade sight and 6 shot fluted cylinder. Blue finish with case color hammer and trigger. Smooth walnut grips. Comes with lanyard ring and lanyard.
Retains most of the blue on the barrel with wear to the muzzle and left side. The frame retains some of the blue with most of the wear to the edges. The cylinder shows wear to the edges and drag marks. The case color on the hammer and trigger are blending to a plum patina. The grips are good with minor nicks and dings. Bore is good and mechanically good.
