Two Sixth Plate Civil War Tintypes of Interest,

Provenance:Property of the former First National Bank of Fremont, Indiana

Condition:Flag image with small area of emulsion cracking and bubbling in upper left corner near mat opening (not broken through), else VG with strong clarity. Indiana soldier with minor surface bubbling in right field caused by a line of dripping top varnish, also several tiny black chemical spots in field, still near VG with good clarity. Both images housed in complete composition cases, the flag bearer in patriotic eagle and shield case.
