Two English Socket Bayonets

1.) British Pattern 1853 Enfield Socket Bayonet. 17.5" triangular blade with 16.5" fuller, 3" socket with standard three-step mortise and locking ring, .785" muzzle diameter, 20.75" overall length. Blade marked "LAWRENCE" and with British ordnance inspection marks. 

2.) British Carbine Bore Socket Bayonet. 17.25" flat faced triangular blade, 4" socket with bridged 3-step mortise, .80" muzzle diameter. 21" overall length. face of blade with "{CROWN}/4" inspection and "THO GILL" maker mark over "R". Bayonet includes a partial leather scabbard with brass frog hook, missing drag with some damage. 


1.) Good. Blued socket a plum color, blade with a lightly oxidized brownish gray patina.

2.) Bayonet about good with a nicely oxidized plum brown patina over gray, legible markings, tip of bayonet chipped and some impact marks around the face of the muzzle.

It is the responsibility of the buyer to organize the export of their firearms to their country of residence. Cost of shipping to an exporter will be included on your invoice as the shipping cost, however the cost of exporting is solely the buyer's responsibility.
