11.5" spearhead length, 70" overall length. Spearhead has tip-point, spine, and socket. Wood shaft has leather wrapping to mid-section, and metal shoe with hook and rope knot attached. Possibly of Polynesian origin, however there are no markings or engravings along spear to confirm. Hook and rope attached to shoe suggest this spear was possibly used for hunting, where the user would throw and pull the spear back in with the attached rope.
In overall good condition. Metal spearhead and shoe have some mottling and discoloration, shaft has some scuffing and bites, and leather wrapping has moderate oxidation but is still tightly held around shaft.
