Lot of 3 tintypes, including a ninth plate portrait of a young man wearing a full dressed hat and state jacket, identified by period label as "John A. Hiller." Housed in a geometric union case (Berg 3-310) alongside a tintype portrait of a woman with adhesive label affixed concealing her face; a ninth plate portrait of a young man with long hair wearing a loose-fitting shirt, identified by period label as "Charles Carrol Rivers." Housed in half pressed paper case; and a ninth plate portrait of a bearded gentleman wearing a civilian hat with red star and frock coat, identified by inscription in back of case as "J.C. Caldwell" of the 23rd O.V.I., Co. A. Housed in full pressed paper case.
