Lot of 3 CDVs. Includes two portraits of bearded officers: the subject of the vignette portrait identified on verso as W. Wilson, a naval gunner from Pennsylvania, while inscription indicates that gentleman seated in fringed chair is Lieutenant J. Pearson of the United States Revenue Cutter Service, now known as the Coast Guard. Completed by oval portrait of Union sailor with boatman whistle cord, medal at right breast pocket, and oval rating badge sewn on right sleeve. He wears a flat-topped sailor hat with ribbon printed "MARION," a sixteen-gun sloop-of-war that joined the Gulf Blockading Squadron and participated in the capture of Ship Island in September 1861.
