Lists a couple of warrants "served at the Instance of Samuel Leach;" serving a search warrant at the instance of Edward Ford; serving a state warrant on James Kirk's Negroe man Isaac at the instance of Elwiley Smith; "to Whiping the same;" serving a state warrant on James Kirk's Negroe man Perry....; to whipping the same; serving a state warrant on Negro George the property of Josiah Briscoe at the instance of Elwiley Smtih; to serving a state warrant on Peter the property of James Richardson...; etc.

1p, ANS, (4.25 x 8.25 in.) Saint Marys County, to George Beal Jr. 1834. March 8 - To serving warrant on Negro woman Harriet; whiping said negro Harriet for steeling [sic].; Apr. 1 - To serving warrant on negro man rely; to whiping said negro rely for steeling.

1p, (5.5 x 8 in.)  St. Marys County, for account with Thomas C. Harrison. 1828. Oct. "to serving warrant on Ann Botiler - a free negro & striping said negro; to serving warrant on Nance Botiler a daughter of the above Ann Botilere & striping said negro." 1829. April "serving warrant on negro Sam the property of Philip Herbert; to summoning Joseph Herbert and Sarah Herbert & negro hager to testify for state of Maryland..."
