Walnut stock has checkering to straight grip, as well as extensive decoration with square pin brass tacks and carvings that do not appear to be authentic or period. Lock is engraved with simple scroll and features a fish head hammer. Item is three separate pieces (Barrel, stock, and lower barrel rail) held together with rubber bands. Barrel is marked "KEMP LONDON" to top and features a silver band inlay in front of breech plug. Included with item is an older tag stating it is a "Indian decorated gun", however, our Native American specialists determined that as unlikely.
Poor. Bore is dark. Finish shows two tone appearance, with pitting and losses overall. Wood stock has cracking and scratches overall. Item is currently held together with rubber bands. Action is functional.
