Swiss Trestle Table

Swiss, late 16th or 17th century. A trestle table in walnut of peg, tongue and groove construction, having a rectangular surface with decorative elongated diamond and four dot inlay to perimeter, the contoured legs joined by wrought iron stretchers; ht. 30, wd. 59.5, dp. 36 in.

Provenance:Property from the collection of Katherine Raible, Lexington, Kentucky

Condition:

Item is in good condition for age with some inlay loss, age splits and surface damage. Original sleigh feet have been removed due to wear over years. Made to look like a Spanish trestle table. Iron stretcher not original.
