American and Continental, late 19th-early 20th century. A group of twenty-three pieces of silver hollowware, including: 

eighteen sterling butter plates by S. Kirk & Sons, marked for maker and STERLING, housed in sterling holder; each dia. 3 in; 

three American sterling dishes with foliate designs, each marked for maker and STERLING; largest bowl ht. 1, dia, 6.25 in.;

and two Continental 800 silver oval-shaped dishes, each marked 800 and with illegible hallmarks; larger lg. 7.5, wd. 6 in.; 

plus, one etched glass plate with sterling rim, marked for Webster and STERLING; dia. 5.25. 

total silver wt. 37.690ozt (1172.29g).

Condition:

One American dish monogrammed and has stubborn tarnish. Butter plates all monogrammed. Wear consistent with age and use.
