.30-06 caliber, serial number 3648360. Barrel is marked S-A-7-51. Bolt is marked D28287-12SA. Receiver is marked D 28291 35. OP rod is straight cut, flat-sided, and has the 0.3125" relief cut modification and is marked D35382 SA. Triggerguard is forged, milled and is unmarked. Gas cylinder is unmarked, and has the wide front sight port and a flat on top of the rear ring. There is no front sight seal and the gas cylinder lock is low. There is no cartouche on the buttstock, but there is a serifed P in a circle on the front of the pistol grip. Rifle mounts with an M84 telescope with serial number 11302. The optics are clear. Scope is void of the rubber eyepiece. The spring catch for holding the elevation knob cover in place is missing. Complete with green webbed sling.

This is a mid-WWII production rifle that has been modified to the mid configuration.

Condition:The stocks are in excellent condition with only a few dents and dings. The wood will clean to a very good appearance. There is an excellent leather cheek piece marked MRT/1 52. The metal is in excellent condition showing wear of the finish at the muzzle.
