** Sporterized Gustloff Werke KK-Wehrsportgewehr Training Rifle
.22 LR. 26" barrel length. SN: 266260. Single shot bolt action rifle with a Redfield rear scope mount over receiver and a stacked blade front sight. Blued metal finish and jeweled stainless steel bolt. Hardwood stock has a plain straight grip and forearm that was possibly shortened and missing barrel band from original configuration. Buttstock still shows sling slot and takedown discs to both sides. Markings include Gustloff trademarks under rear scope mount, "KK. Wehrsportgewehr" marked to right of receiver, "KAL.22 LANG FUR BUCHSEN" to left of receiver, and two "{eagle/N}" marked to barrel and receiver. Barrel appears to have been drilled for scope mounts.
Condition:
Good to very good. Bore is frosty. Finish has light scratches and peppered pit marks scattered overall. Wood stock shows some light scratches and small mars. Stock appears to have been shortened.
