.38 S&W. 5" barrel length. SN: 372642. Double-action revolver with fluted swing out cylinder, cartridge extractor, and fixed u-notch and blade sights. Parkerized military finish and plain walnut grips. Markings include (Flaming bomb) Ordnance acceptance mark and "U.S. PROPERTY G.H.D" to top strap. On left of frame "VEGA SAC, CA" is marked. On right of frame there are several crude acceptance marks. Serial number is marked to butt.
Condition:
Good. Bore is bright and rifling is sharp. Cartridge chambers have residue. Parkerized metal finish shows thinning to barrel and cylinder yoke, with light scratches overall. Grips have heavy scratches, dings, and bites to both overall.
