** Smith & Wesson Model 37 Airweight with Bobbed Hammer Spur
.38 Special. 1.75" barrel length. SN: 64379. Blued metal finish with black anodized frame, walnut Smith & Wesson logo grips, and casehardened hammer and trigger. Double-action hand-ejector revolver with 5-shot cylinder and matted front ramp with rear frame notch sights. Hammer spur has an uneven shape and no finish to end indicating custom spur job. Standard Smith & Wesson factory markings to usual areas on item.
Condition:
Very Good. Bore is bright with strong rifling and some residue throughout. Metal finish shows scattered light scratches to cylinder, non-continuous turn ring, and flaking of finish at rear edge of cylinder. Scratch to frame at rear corner. Hammer shows brown patina beginning to form in recesses. Grips have handling wear and mars in addition to few skips and loss of finish at edges.
