** Smith & Wesson .32 Safety Second Model Double Action Hammerless Revolver
.32 S&W. 3.5" barrel length. SN: 126662. Double-action only top-break revolver with automatic ejector and grip safety mechanism. Nickel finish with blued triggerguard and latch. Trigger is casehardened while grips are black hard-rubber with boxed checkering and Smith & Wesson monograms. Item features a five-shot cylinder and shows standard cartridge markings to left barrel and company name with patent dates of 1877, 1880, 1883, and 1885 to barrel rib.
Condition:
Very Good. Bore is dark with some oxidation to grooves. Nickel finish is strong with some scratches and flecks of patina to right frame and on cylinder. Weakening of finish to flanks of barrel and flaking to latch. Blued finish displays edgewear with brown patinaed spots forming to triggerguard. Casehardening visible to flanks of trigger with pinpoint spots of patina. Grips show strong details to monograms with some light scratches. Checkering shows some wear. Action indexes correctly with slight wiggle to lockup. Auto ejector functional. Firing pin is frozen in place rendering action inoperable.
