Tackaberry, New York, with the appeal, "The nett proceeds from the sale of these photographs will be devoted to the education of Colored People in the department of the Gulf, now under the command of Maj. Gen'l Banks." Accompanied by vignetted view of "Rebecca. A Slave Girl from New Orleans," as imprinted on recto, with verso credit to Paxson, and designated No. 2 from the same series.
