Sixth Plate Daguerrotype of Man and his Dog

Sixth plate daguerreotype depicting a well-dressed man and his dog. His formal attire consists of a long double-breasted coat with a velvet collar and a dark waistcoat, along with a high-collared white shirt. He wears a ring on the little finger of one hand, while his other is occupied with the unsuccessful task of steadying his canine companion, whose movement appears as a blur. A subtle pink color highlights his cheeks.
