Sixth Plate Ambrotype of Pennsylvania Zouave

Exceptionally clear sixth plate ruby ambrotype of a member of either the 72nd or 95th Pennsylvania Zouaves as indicated by the rounded jacket worn by the young soldier, complete with ball buttons running down both sides. The subject's cheeks are lightly tinted pink, and his buttons and ring are highlighted in gold. Housed in full Union case, Wheel of Cornucopias (See Krainik-191).

Condition:

Image is exceptionally clear; wonderful contrast. Case with some small chips, wear along edges and corners.
