Sioux Quilled and Beaded Buffalo Hide Bowcase and Quiver, From the James B. Scoville Collection

thread and sinew-sewn; thin rows of red and white quillwork decorate both sides of the bowcase and the front of the quiver; tufts of blue wool, and triangular quilled tabs with rawhide slats finished with tin cones and horsehair are added embellishments, overall length 51 in.
