Scarce Mexican War Lithograph,
"The 2nd Division of Regulars, as Drawn-Up at Cerro Gordo. Under the Command of Gen. Twiggs." 16.25 x 24.5", shrink wrapped on foam core. Under the illustration is the list of officers. Accompanying the lithograph is a piece from the original frame backing paper with "Susan P. Delafield." Susan (1805-1861) (later Mrs. Henry Parish) was the daughter of General John Delafield, who brought the manuscript copy of the Treaty of Ghent with him when he emigrated from England in 1783.
Condition:Dampstain on left half along with light surface soil. Lower right corner separated but present. Minor scuffing on left edge. Not removed from wrap for examination.
