Scarce Amateur Photographer's Formula Book and More,

237 pp., 8vo half calf with marbleized page edges. Notes are found throughout the book, but not every page has information. It appears as though the writer was trying to alphabetize by subject, leaving blank pages to fill in later. There is also a hand-written index tipped into front. Some of his notes include subjects such as "Development of Gelatin plates" with different techniques noted, "Alum Bath for Negatives," "Frilling," "Prints Blistering," "Retouching," and more. Most have references from sources published in the 1870's.

Condition:Covers slightly worn, very light scattered foxing and occasional ghosts, depending on ink used on those pages. Overall in very good condition.
