NORTH PATENTED JUNE 17, 1856 / JANUARY 18, 1859 MAY 15, 1860. Serial number on right of frame under grip and under barrel where it is concealed by the loading lever. Condition:

Good to very good. Some minor traces of blue are present in protected areas. Otherwise the metal has a moderately oxidized gray and brown appearance with some minor surface roughness and some scattered pinpricking. Markings remain clear. Mechanically functional, although the cylinder exhibits some wobble when locked up. Bore fair, dark and moderately oxidized with scattered pitting and visible rifling. Grips about very good, showing some minor chipped loss at the leading and trailing edges and scattered bumps, dings and mars. These grip thin panels are notorious for cracking and breaking, so these are actually quite good and in nice shape.
