Rogers & Spencer Army Percussion Revolver
.44 caliber. 7.5" octagonal barrel length. SN: 3755. Single-action percussion revolver with fixed 6-shot cylinder, loading lever, and fixed notch and conical bead sights. blued metal finish, steel gray loading lever and trigger, with plain walnut grips. Marked "ROGERS & SPENCER/UTICA N-Y" to top strap with serial number marked to cylinder, under barrel, left of frame, and to butt of grip straps. There is a sharp boxed "RPB" cartouche to the left side grip. Grips have serial number etched to backs of both.
Condition:
Good. Cylinder has not been removed, but bore appears dark. Finish is thinning overall. There are visible scratches and pit marks overall, with some surface oxidation to hammer and top of barrel. Grey patina developing overall to metal.
