Remington New Model Army Revolver
.44 caliber. 8" octagonal barrel length. SN: 105965. Blued metal finish with brass triggerguard and plain walnut grips. Single action percussion revolver with frame notch and blade sights. Item has various D, H, R, and W marks to cylinder, frame, and barrel. There is a boxed OWA, Orville W. Ainsworth inspector marking to left grip.
Condition:
Good. Bore is bright with some light residue to rifling. Most of finish has worn away and left a mottled grey-brown appearance due to patina and blemishes. Grips are good with some scratching and light wear.
