Original finish has been buffed away leaving the item in the white overall. Revolver displays a brass triggerguard and two piece walnut grips. Octagonal barrel is marked "PATENTED SEPT. 14, 1858/E. REMINGTON & SONS. ILION NEW YORK U.S.A./NEW-MODEL". "C" mark appears on both sides of barrel, triggerguard, and behind left recoil shield.
