Relic Tryon Percussion Trade Rifle
.50 caliber. 30" wedge retained octagonal barrel. SN: NSN. Heavily oxidized metal, brass furniture, walnut stock. Percussion lock marked "A ANSCHUTZ", top flat of barrel marked "TRYON/PHILADA", surrounded by asterisks. Relic condition rifle with the triggerguard and part of side plate missing, forend shortened and toe of stock damaged. Mounted with a fully engraved leaf-finial four-piece Tryon patchbox.

Fair, relic condition. Heavily oxidized and pitted metal with a thick, untouched patina, brass uncleaned and untouched. Not mechanically functional, bore heavily pitted. Stock extremely worn and dry, missing splinters and pieces of wood from the forend, moderate damage and wood loss to stock toe.
