Rare Ulysses S. Grant Oil Lamp

With painted metal base and reverse polychrome transfer print portrait of uniformed Ulysses S. Grant Oil well is molded glass with painted floral pattern design. Oil regulator reads P. & A. MFG. Co., Thomaston Conn. Made in U.S.A.. Approx. 13.5" tall, 21" with shade. A scarce memento, probably from the 1868 campaign.
