Rare All Brass Boxlock Flintlock Pistol by Joyner

.620 bore diameter, 9" octagonal barrel. Engraved brass frame, and brass handle.  Iron pins and screws, iron frizzen and hammer.  Engraved hammer and frizzen with border. John Joyner was apprenticed to Charles Pickfatt in 1747, was free of the Gunmakers Company in 1758 and submitted his proof piece in 1761. He worked in London from 1758 to 1774.

Condition:

Excellent overall, very sharp and crisp engraving.  Nice mellowed look.
