The twin beds (along with lot 4 and lot 5 in this sale) were purchased by the consignor's great grandparents from R.J. Horner in New York City in the early 1890s. The suite was purchased for the family's country house in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. (See attached photos of the suite in situ at the Lake Geneva home). After the Lake Geneva estate was sold in 1959, the consignor's parents used the suite in their Chicago home on State Street.

Condition:
In overall decent, stable, condition. Old scuffs, marks and scratches throughout consistent with age and use. Breakage to lower portion of one circular element of one headboard.
