Queen Anne Low Boy, Attributed to Dunlap

American (New Hampshire), 18th century. A Queen Anne lowboy made from a highboy base, in cherry with pine secondary, having a rectangular surface with molded edge, over three graduated dovetailed drawers with brass pulls, bottom drawer with central peacock fan carving, above a scrolled skirt flanked by smaller peacock fan carvings with brass rosettes, all rising on cabriole legs with padded feet; ht. 38.5, wd. 41.5, dp. 20 in.

Condition:

The highboy made from the base of a lowboy with added top. Refinished. Minimal surface wear throughout. Old but not original brass pulls.
