.30 caliber, 18" barrel, S/N 1892127. Reblued finish with round stock holes with high wood. Blade front sight with late aperture rear sight. Top of barrel marked with Buffalo Ordnance marking, "8-1943" date and flaming bomb. Type I barrel band with stock showing ordnance wheel on right side with correct "Q-RMC" in box cartouche. Button safety. No magazine. Barrel shows import marks.
Fair overall. Some thinning and scratching to finish on muzzle, barrel, and working parts. Stock shows a moderate amount of wear with dents, blemishes, and other imperfections consistent with surplus arms. Action is slightly sluggish due to cosmoline remnants. Muzzle gauges a "5" with chamber gauging a "3." Bore is fair; some old grime and cosmoline with some visible edges remaining to rifling. Could clean to better.
