Percussion Side by Side Shotgun with Locks by Thomson of Aberdeen

12 bore. 30" twist steel barrels. SN: NSN. Side by side percussion shotgun that appears to have been converted from flintlock, with a flat rib and bead front sight that is worn down. Bare finish. Walnut stock has checkering to straight grip. Item features double triggers, double engraved fish head cock levers, and a European style triggerguard. Item has simple scroll, sunburst, and pheasant scene engravings to both lockplates. Tang, cocks, and stock furnishings also feature scroll, sunburst, and rosette engravings. Markings include THOMSON/ABDn. to both lockplates. Includes wood ramrod with flared brass tip. Action is functional. 

Condition:

Good. Bores are moderately dark with residue and oxidation. Finish has mostly worn away overall. Stock has a crack to right side behind cock lever, with light scratching and mars overall. Heel of stock has some losses to wood. Action is functional.
