Pair of Spanish Miquelet Pistols

.640 bore diameter, 6" tapered octagonal-to-round barrel, with gilt proofs, a gilt band separating octagonal-to-round and cannon-style muzzle. Engraved iron mounted furniture, superbly designed delicately made lockplate with high relief floral motifs at the rear.  All iron mounts have nice relief work on the parts.  Walnut stock.  Antonio Guisasola (Eibar gunmaker 1796-1820).


All metal has been cleaned in a European manner.  The pistols have nice sharp and crisp lines. Stocks are excellent. Overall excellent.
