Pair of 19th century French fencing rapiers. Both have a 34" blade length, and 42" overall length. Blades consist of false edge on one side with the other side being the true edge. Guards are dome shaped with a grooved, spiral-rectangular grip and oval pommel. Side of blades just above guard engraved "Coulaux/& Cie/Klingenthal".
Blades are in moderate condition, featuring heavy oxidation along both sides of blade proper while guards and pommels have minor discoloration. Grips on other hand are only lightly discolored.
