Howard (1830-1909, USMA 1854); and more.

Second book: Obl. 5 x 8 in., green cloth with gilt front and spine, a.e.g. This appears to be a collection of US Senators from about 1875 or so (approx. the 44th Congress). The ffep has the collector/owner: Charles E. Hamlin, Bangor, Maine. He may be the son of Hannibal Hamlin (VP 1861-1865, Senate 1869-1880). The first page is signed by U.S. Grant, the second page by Hannibal Hamlin. There are about 73 other signatures, each with the state they represent. There is also one clipped signature and one signed calling card tucked into the book.

Each with some handling wear, as expected when dozens of people sign it. Both still holding.
