Blade acid etched with a nominally 10.5" patriotic motif panel on both sides with a spread-winged eagle over E PLURIBUS UNUM as the central theme on the obverse and US as the central image on the reverse. Pierced iron half-basket guard with spread-winged eagle over US and E PLURIBUS UNUM over head. Shagreen covered 8-groove wood grip with three-strand copper wire wrap using two plain and one twisted wire. Includes seamed steel scabbard.
Good to very good. Blade partially bright with some of the etched panel remaining visible. Guard with scattered oxidation and age staining. Grip covering very good with wire mostly intact, although somewhat loose and with some minor loss to the wrapping. Scabbard very good with scattered oxidation and staining.
