American, 18th century. A banister back armchair in maple, of an unusually large size, with a shaped crest, mushroom finials, baluster turned stiles, an old rush seat, and old black paint; oah. 45 in.

Condition:

Formerly converted to a rocking chair, now converted back. Repair to proper right arm.
