Nepalese Snider Carbine
.62 caliber. 25.5" barrel length. SN: NSN. Metal pieces left in the white with a single barrel band and a flat-wrist halfstock with Nepalese marked lockplate. Single-shot breechloading smoothbore firearm with SNIDER/UK{Arrow}/PATENT marked breechblock with no firing pin and flat-face hammer. Item displays Nepalese markings to all other parts with a barrel rib running beneath barrel featuring two loops for cleaning rod. Currently installed is a nonmatching modern 2-piece cleaning rod.
Condition:
Good. Bore is frosty with patina throughout and some white residue clinging in bore. All markings to metal parts are weak with traces of clearcoat and brush marks overall. Stock has handling wear, mars, and dings overall. Action is functional with loose breechblock. Item has no firing pin.
